When the carnival of oddities comes to the small town of Sinister, the evilness begins to give the town a reputation true to its name. The carnies take over the small town, and police won't help. Only when one of their own, Candyce, changes her name to Blackie, and develops an explosive sexual relationship with the carnival leader, do things start to change, not always for the better. Filled with passion, black magic, crime, murder and suspense, and a few good folks, makes this book quite interesting!
